Monday, Day 2:
Arrive in Edinburgh Scotland. Enjoy a private transfer from the airport to The Bonham Hotel in the heart of Edinburgh City, where you will stay for 2-nights. “Edinburgh,” said the writer Robert Louis Stevenson “is what Paris ought to be.” Its magnificent architecture shifts from the lofty tenements of its medieval Old Town to the grace and geometric precision of the Georgian New Town. Above it all, in its towering splendor, stands the Castle. Settle in today and explore this beautiful city at your leisure.
Tuesday, Day 3:
During your time in Edinburgh today, see Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Crown Jewels and The Stone of Destiny. Afterwards, you can follow the Royal Mile on foot to explore various quirky shops, pubs, restaurants and narrow closes steeped in history. Explore the fabulous shops, pubs and restaurants in the city. We recommend dinner at ‘The Witchery’ by the Castle this evening.

Following the afternoon here your tour will take you onto the back-roads overlooking mysterious Loch Ness before staying in Ullapool*, your base for the next 2-nights is the Royal Hotel. (* some tours may stay in Inverness instead of Ullapool during particularly busy times of the year when Ullapool’s accommodation is scarce)

Today takes you into the far northern wilderness of Assynt with its mixture of cliffs, rocky inlets and unspoiled beaches. The day is full of amazing views of some of Europe’s oldest landscapes from the stunning white sand beach at Achmelvich Bay to the traditional fishing village of Lochinver, and the 15th century ruins of Ardvreck Castle. With the chance of seeing wildlife such as whales and red deer, this is sure to be a memorable day.
Friday, Day 6:

Then it’s over the sea to Skye, where you’ll stay 2-nights in the Bosville Hotel, located in the picturesque harbor town of Portee.
